General Qualifications and Essential Responsibilities:

  • All positions require an energetic, full loving, and responsible individual.
  • High School, Some College, or Degree; Must be at least 18 years old
  • Experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar after-school and/or summer camp setting, a plus - but not required.
  • Strong communication skills with supervisors, coworkers and children
  • Creative, resourceful and versatile.
  • Maintain a high energy level and good physical health.
  • Ability to deal effectively with members including problem-solving.

Program Group Leader, Youth Development Professional

(part-time)

Assist with daily activities and the supervision of children ages 6-15. Daily activities may include but are not limited to, homework help, sports, recreation and educational activities. Encourage children’s use of leisure time through a variety of skills you can share. Great opportunity for students in education, social work and childhood psych.


Hours:

Monday - Friday, 3:00 - 6:30pm (Sept. - June)

Monday- Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm (July - Aug.)

Sports & Fitness Coordinator

(part-time)

Organize and Facilitate daily sports and fitness activities for children ages 6-12. Additional assistance and supervision may include but are not limited to, homework help assistance, healthy habits (mind, body, soul component). Great opportunity for students in education, social work and childhood psych.


Hours:

Monday - Friday, 3:00 - 6:30pm (Sept. - June)* Required

Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 3:00pm (July - Aug.)


Specialty Activities Coordinator

Including but not limited to:

Gymnastics, STEM, and More!

(part-time)

Teen & Pre-Teen Activity Leader

(part-time)

Responsible for effectively implementing and maintaining a variety of Teen-aged programs and activities that are fun, engaging and support our priority outcome areas of Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, Good Character and Citizenship.


Hours: Year Round Position, Monday - Friday, 2:30pm

25-30 hour per week.




STEM Coordinator

(part- time)
Technology experience required. Teaching a plus, but not required. Responsible for implementing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), leading fun and a variety of educational programs for youth and teens. Including but not limited to; digital arts, photo illustration, movie making, and music making. Supervise members on computers for safety and ensuring a positive and creative learning environment. Recognize and celebrate our kids successes, creating an opportunity to showcase their talents in festivals!

Hours:

Monday - Friday, 2:30 - 7:00pm (Sept. - June)

Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 3:00pm (July - Aug.)

Healthy Lifestyles Activities Leader

(part- time)
Teaching a plus, but not required. Responsible for leading fun and Healthy lifestyles programs and activities for youth and teens. Interest of healthy and wellness and ability to  organize a variety of activities; such as basic snack prep for kids. Supervise members for safety and ensuring a positive and creative learning environment. Recognize and celebrate kids successes, creating an opportunity to showcase their talents!

Hours:

Monday - Friday, 3:00 - 6:30pm (Sept. - June)

Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 3:00pm (July - Aug.)


Teen Programs Director

(full-time)

Responsible for overseeing Teen Programs Department, effectively implementing and maintaining a variety of Teen and pre-teen programs and activities that are fun, engaging and support our priority outcome areas of Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, Good Character and Citizenship. Recruitment and participation of teen-aged members, and organization of Clubhouse and off-site special events. T


Responsible for developing, planning, implementing, and evaluating a youth development program for youth in Middle School and High School (Ages 11-18). Having knowledge of the developmental level of each age group (11-12, 13-15, 16-18) is required.


Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience in a related field – Adolescence, Sports Education or similar.


Hours: Year Round Position, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.

Monday - Thursday, 11:00am - 7:30pm, Friday 10:30am - 7:00pm

Summer Youth Employment Program!

Teens 16+ are invited to participate in the our

Summer Youth Employment program


Program consists of 2 sets of a series of 5 workshops .

 Workshops begin early Spring

Mandatory workshop will focus on different aspects of career development from preparing for college to fine tuning job searching techniques and interviewing skills to learning how to manage finances. Guest speakers will conduct financial literacy class, presentations and feedback and tips on career development.


Workshops will include refreshment, prizes and giveaways.
