AFTER- SCHOOL PROGRAM
Our Mission: To provide a caring environment to inspire and enable all young people to realize their full potential as productive and responsible citizens.
 
  
 

Membership Requirements & Information

We serve children ages 6-18. We require a copy of the current child’s immunization records on file. Membership has its privileges. Members must bring their membership card as ID and to take out equipment. We also offer a variety of trips, programs, summer day camp, and special events such as Halloween Bash, Holiday Party, Valentines Penny Carnival, Thanksgiving Dinner, Easter Egg Hunt, End of the Year Event, and the End of Summer BBQ & Block Party. 

 
Hours of Operation

Dates: Tuesday, September 7, 2010 – Friday, June 24, 2011

Monday-Friday; 3:00pm-6:30pm (ages 6-12)

Monday-Thursday, 3:00-8:00pm; Fridays, 3:00pm-9:00pm (ages 13-18)

After School Program Fee

$25.00 Club Membership Fee (valid until June 2011) ages 6-12

$5.00 Club Membership Fee (valid until June 2011) ages 13-18
 
Hours & Late Fees

For the safety of the members, please park and come into the building to pick your children.

 The Club closes at 6:30 pm each evening. If your child has permission to walk home, please submit a letter indicating your permission for your child to do so. We will allow a grace period of 15 minutes.
After 6:15 pm, the late fee will be as follows:
6:45 pm to 7:00 pm        $5.00
7:00 pm and After          $10.00

 

**Medical Information: Copy of most recent immunizations is required at registration**

 

Transportation

Space is limited, first come first serve basis

Free of charge from each other the following schools:

Connolly, Deasy, Gribbin, Landing, Robert M. Finley Middle School

Program & Services
The Boys & Girls Club is a neighborhood-based facility focusing on youth development programs and activities. We have full-time, trained youth development professionals, providing positive role models and mentors, Part-time workers and volunteers provide key supplementary support.
 
Rules & Regulations
  • Please note the Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club follows a discipline policy as well as a safe passage policy. 
  • Members must present their card upon entering the Club and have it to participate in activities or to check out games and equipment
  • Members must respect the Club members, staff and volunteers
  • Foul language is unacceptable
  • Members must remove their hats upon entering the Club.
  • Personal belongings are the member’s responsibility. Valuables should not be brought to the Club.
  • Chewing gum is not permitted at the Club
  • HAVE FUN!
